This is just a comical little card I thought would go good with me adding my count down til Christmas calender. I am sure a lot of people are saying Bah Humbug--just like my gentleman is.... I usually like pretty Christmas cards--but just had to do this guy. It is a stamp from Designed Inks--again a whole stack of these funny ones from a long time ago. maybe I need to clean and re-organize more. (lol)
Hello All Wow!! I am on a roll the last couple of days---(but is my ART room getting done (NO)... Here is a card I created last night just messing around--see, I unearthed some old stamps while cleaning and straightening so just had to play a little also. The stamp is from a home based company no longer in business called Sweet Celebrations--How many of you remember them?
Hello---- Boy has it been a busy week for me--company in from out of state, and working on cleaning and re-organizing my art room. I did manage to get a card done for this weeks challenge over at Winter Wonderland while I took a little break so hope you like it... The theme this week was Let It Snow and I love snowmen so of course it is a snowman--a roly poly one at that....
Recipe Stamp--not sure Background paper DCWV pre-made card from DCWV jewels from Joann's snowflake border punch from Fiskars the other little mini top note punch from Su the corner punch was from Paper Shapers I think
Hope you like my roly poly lil guy. Have a great week--Hope to see you next challenge....
Thanks for stopping by I really to appreciate each and every visit. So til next time......
Well lo and behold I found another Christmas challenge blog. It is call Winter Wonderland The theme this week was to represent a Christmas Carol. I choice to use Frosty the Snowman as I love snowmen. Anyway I hope you like ole Frosty!!!!
The stamp was unmonted, unlabeled one I found in my big bag of unmounts. The Frosty the Snowman is a font printed from my computer the snowflakes where cut with sizzix machine and the 3-D snowman are Jolee embellishment. I colored with Sharpie markers
The inside I used my label nestie, and more snowflakes and the other Jolee embellishment. The name Frosty was the bottom of a snowman stamp that I have.
That's all folks as I worked in my art area today--didn't even make a dent but at least got started.
Card recipe: The girl was an image from a friend Sentiment--I am not sure--I have used it so much the name was worn off (lol) Rhinestones are from Darice Papers from my stash Colored with Bic and Sharpies
Well I have decided to build a blog devoted to the Holidays. It is the first of June and time for me to start my Christmas cards for 2009. I get bored working on the same type of cards for long periods of time, so I mix things up--I might do Christmas today, flowers tomorrow and something else the next day. I am hopeing to add a couple times a week at least though.
Holidays doesn't just mean Christmas--I will be posting cards for all of the holidays--but more Christmas than the others. Lets face it--we all send more Christmas cards than cards for the other holidays.
So for today I did get three cards done between last night and day. Hope you enjoy them.
Welcome to my Holiday blog--it will be primarily for Christmas inspiration but I will include other Holidays as well. So grab a cup of hot chocolate, coffee, diet Pepsi, a snack and visit a bit
